What it is
The energy performance rating of a property, on an A to F scale, issued under the national energy certification system.
Who needs it
Required of sellers and landlords. A valid certificate must be presented at the deed and at the signature of a lease, and the energy class must appear in the advertisement.
Where to get it
An assessor accredited by ADENE, following a visit to the property. The cost varies with the size of the property.
Does it expire?
Yes, after 10 years, and in some cases after 1 year.
